Love Gods In Leisure Suits - Grove On It

1991 found the Lovegods in Leisure Suits at a crossroads. Lead singer Michael Bales and drummer Rich Thibault were joined by new members Robert Wainwright on guitar and Chuck Curameng on bass. Out of this new alliance came Groove On It, the band's second full-length album. The group injected new musical influences into this release, from the groove metal of "Propaganda" and "Plethora Palace", to the countrified rave-up "Jailbait Babsitter", to a high-energy funk-punk rendition of Hot Chocolate's "You Sexy Thing". The addition of Rich's keyboards added another dimension to the sound. As part of the May 2026 Club Spacefish reunion activities, which will see the Lovegods perform again for the first time since 1992, Groove On It has been remastered and is now available on CD.

Target Earth - Anthology 1986-87

In 1988 Target Earth went into Main Street Recording Studio in Winter Garden,  Florida.  With producer John Foster behind the board, they set out to achieve a heavier sound than their previous band, the Cloth.  Of the four songs they recorded that day, three are featured on the Anthology 86-87 release.  The fourth, Fascist Fashion, will be featured as a bonus track on next year's 40th anniversary vinyl release.  Soon after, Target Earth was asked to contribute two songs to the debut Figurehead release, When the Vessels had Life.  Charles was up all night on an acid bender and the session was booked at 10 am, but Target Earth somehow managed to record the best two songs of their career that day,  City of Brotherly Love, and Falling to Sleep.  More tracks were soon recorded to round out the release of a self titled cassette.   The last two songs were recorded shortly before Mark's departure to Boston.   They were never properly mixed but included for their sheer raw energy which reflects Charles' tumultuous life at the time.

The Riddlers - That’s All You Get

That’s All You Get by The Riddlers isn’t just a CD—it’s more like a preserved archive of a local band’s entire early output, packaged decades later so it doesn’t disappear. It’s aimed at fans of regional power pop/punk history, collectors, or anyone curious about what the Orlando scene sounded like before the internet made everything easy to find. What really defines them though is the DIY, local scene energy. This isn’t studio-perfect power pop/punk—it’s closer to what you’d hear in a small club or college radio: raw mixes, quick songs, and a kind of urgency that feels like they recorded it before the moment disappeared. That’s why the compilation hits, it  captures multiple versions of the band with songs from their cassette release titled Blonde Hair Cop, unreleased recordings and a live radio performance all dating back to 1988-1990.

Damage - How To Talk To Humans

New Music From DAMAGE! How to Talk To Humans brings together a series of elelectronic dance inspired remixes with classic synth-punk tracks like Carriage Horses - a full-on hardcore assault reminiscent of Damage’s earlier work, and the title track How To Talk To Humans - an upbeat electro-punk rocker—Built in the DAMAGE tradition of analog synthesizers and live drums.  Remixes provided by Richie Dio, Knowlton Walsh, with a bonus digital downloadable track from Tommy "MOT" Barger.  With How To Talk To Humans, Damage continues to forge new territory with its sixth release since their start in 1983. Bloody Mary - The DeVito Sessions

The tracks on the DeVito Sessions CD were originally recorded in 1990 at Jim DeVito's studio Retrophonics in St. Augustine, FL. Dave went to Flagler College for a few years, so he must have met DeVito then. It took a long time to find a copy of this. None of the band members had it. It was never released. After asking around a lot, Alf Zammit ( a good friend and Disco Biscuit's manager), told me to ask another good friend, Ben Fisher. Ben did indeed have a copy--that he stole! Apparently, Dave came over to Ben's for a house party right after they recorded. He had it on cassette. While Dave was undoubtedly making a drink or grabbing a beer, Ben snuck into another room and copied the cassette. Thank goodness, because it seems to be the only one in existence. Ben labeled it "Cheatery II" ("Cheatery I"was apparently a bootleg of a Naiomi's Hair album!). Ben said he listened to it a lot, and never told Dave he had it. It's his favorite Bloody Mary recording. Guitarist Matt Simmons remembers the recording sessions as "a whirlwind session fueled by Miller Lite and ganja." The bass player on this is Chris Sturgeon. Original bassist Road Narrows (Kevin Berve) had moved out of town. Bloody Mary would be over by the next year.

Declared Ungovernable

You wouldn’t think quiet tree-lined streets and placid lake shores would produce a shitstorm of youth angst - but in 1985, hardcore punk outfit Declared Ungovernable blasted right out of the suburban calm of Winter Park, Florida.

DU were young, angry, and searching for something… who knows what? Truth, maybe? Or just something real in a world that already felt like a lie. Somewhere in that chaos, DU’s self-released cassette started circulating, finding its way into the hands of punks who got it instantly. Now, paired with recently unearthed live recordings, this new digital mix of their original tape, Before the Beginning, captures that moment in full: raw, reckless, and unmistakably alive—back when anger was honest, and the volume was everything!
